Hay there folks,
As some of you will know, Gilly and myself have been working in the background to organise a motor show in Aberdeen. And we can now tell you its going to really happen.
The motor show is a charity event, so all money raised will be going to charity. The two charites that have been choosen are Northsound Cash for Kids and ARCHIE.
The event will be held down at the AECC on May the 31st
We are getting all the local car & bike clubs involved, sofar the list of clubs is as fallows.
Clubs:
Granite City Civic (GCC)
Aberdeen Cruiser Club (ACC)
NE of Scotland RS Owners Club
Aberdeen & District Motor Club (ADMC)
Grampian Automobile Club (GAC)
Aberdeen Mini Owners Club (AMOC)
Moray Muscle Group [US Muscle cars] (MMG)
Modded Motors (MM)
Aberdeen Scoobies (Interested, confirmation pending)
Club member attendance alone will be anywhere between 200/400 people.
We will be running competitions on the day, including;
Competitions:
Best club award,
Best Project,
Best Show and Shine,
Best Custom (car or bike),
Maddest engine,
Best in show (Chosen from the winners of all comps),
Best Paint job,
Best Classic,
(Classic cars/bikes will be split up into decades if necessary)
Best Burnout (possibly),
More Competitions will be announced at a later date.
Media:
The event will have local and possible national media coverage, with live radio broadcasts by the Northsound Team from the event.
Press & Journal/Evening Express will be covering the event too, with a special report all about this event in there motoring section before and then after the event.
BBC Radio Scotland, BBC Scotland, STV and Original FM (Still Pending)
We will have many of the dealerships coming along to this event,

The ADMC will celebrating 100yrs at this event so it is sure to draw in a large crowd of people.
Estimated attendance could be anywhere between 5000 – 10,000 minimum as this event will have major media coverage before the actual event.
Floor space, is almost unlimited as we have the use of the entire AECC car park. Costs for exhibiting, at the moment it's free to enter any car or bike club into the event. However after the end of March clubs entering into this event will be charged a small fee to show off there club.
If you know of any clubs, groups or know anyone in the Auto industry dealerships etc etc then please let them know about this event.
